Outreach

No matter where you are in life, there is always someone trying to get to where you are right now. Giving back is an essential part of living your best life while helping others find their shine. Our family strives to make a positive impact on the world around us in the areas of Youth Co-powerment, Technology and Education.

September 17, 2022: Day trip to see the land purchased by IMKA Community Development Organization- Uganda, future site of their library and expansion efforts. The whole community came out early and waited hours until we could get there just to meet us.

Meeting the students who we sponsor for school face to face was priceless. Two students even brought their report cards to share their progress. The group blessed us with mats, baskets, sugar cane, and fruits grown on site. We shared new books for the library and clothes.

Keep working hard in school Aksam, Suuda, Joan and Edrine! We are so proud of you.

September 14, 2022: Amazing visit to Rescue Women Foundation in Uganda. A day filled with dance, skits, personal stories, smiles (some tears), precious babies and mothers, and much love. We were able to deliver needed food, baby clothes, diapers, formula, and toys.

July 11, 2022: Donation of 100 backpacks for the school children supported by IMKA Community Development Organization- Uganda. Not only were the children excited, but we were able to support a local business in Uganda for purchase of the bags in the process.

November 28, 2021: Day trip to see the community supported by IMKA Community Development Organization- Uganda. Thanks to my husband, Ibrahim Mutebi, for representing our family on this first visit to the non-profit organization. They supply food from their land to the local children and families in need.

February 2, 2022: Donation of 4 boxes (96 bars) of Uganics mosquito repellent soap to IMKA Community Development Organization- Uganda. These were passed out to families in the local community to help fight the battle against malaria.

November 1, 2020: Kicking off our yearly educational sponsorship for five wonderful students in Sierra Leone through Develop Africa; Mbalu, Roseline, Roland, Samuel, and Isatu. We can't wait to witness all their successes.
